Out-of-Town Guest Info

The wedding events will center on the West Village, the Meatpacking District, and a bit of South Chelsea.  We will likely be staying at the Maritime Hotel on 9th Avenue between 16th and 17th Streets.  The ceremony itself will be at St. Joseph's, which is on 6th Avenue and Waverly Place (the equivalent of 7th Street).  With the exception of the reception--we'll provide transportation to and from the Botanic Garden--the wedding events will be in that slice of Chelsea and the West Village between the Maritime and St. Joseph's.

Unfortunately, there aren't many hotels in the area and very few of them reserve blocks of rooms for weddings.  No hotel is both inexpensive and ideally located, so we suggest using the standard array of hotel comparison shopping websites (kayak.com, hotels.com, expedia.com, etc.) to find one you're comfortable with.  We think you'll be able to find a reasonable hotel in the area loosely bounded on the West by the Hudson River, on the North by 34th Street, on the East by 5th Avenue, and on the south by Canal Street, though you're obviously welcome to stay wherever you want.  If you'd like us to look into a hotel for you, send us an email.  Here are some suggestions:
